Air Oil Combination Cooler for Chicago Pneumatic QRS15 and Atlas Copco GX7/GX11 Rotary Screw Compressors – 2202 8156 03

This air/oil cooler reduces the operating temperature of both the compressed air and the oil. This helps prevent the compressor from overheating due to high oil temp and also removes a portion of the moisture from the air lines by cooling the air before entering the receiver tank. This cooler fits the QRS15 rotary screw compressor manufactured by Chicago Pneumatic if it was manufactured after 2008. Many of the Atlas Copco GX7, GX7FF, GX11 and GX11FF rotary screw compressors utlized this cooler as well.

If your compressor is overheating on high temperature and your cooler is clean and your oil level is okay, you may need to replace your thermal valve. 2901109500 was a common thermal valve used on many of these compressors.
