This OEM oil separator element will fit most Chicago Pneumatic QRS3.0HP, QRS5.0HP, and QRS7.5HP air compressors that were manufactured BEFORE July of 2008. This is an OEM part made by Chicago Pneumatic Air Compressors. This part number may also be shown as 2903 0623 01 or . This separator filter is also commonly used on several Atlas Copco, Quincy, and Napa air compressors and is their OEM filter as well. Many Atlas Copco GX2, GX4, and GX5 air compressors use this same filter.

The old part number for this item was 1622 0623 01, which supersedes to this part number 2903062301. If your filter or parts manual is labeled 1622062301, then purchasing this item is correct.

This filter is only used on the older style QRS compressors from Chicago Pneumatic. If you have a 3hp through 7.5hp CP rotary screw compressor manufactured after July of 2008, you need to purchase part number 6221372650.

When changing the separator element, it is also recommended to replace the air filter, oil filter and Rotair compressor lubricant.

This CP separator element filter should be changed every 4,000 hours or once per year. The separator filter removes oil from the airstream before the air is sent downstream. Proactively changing the separator element will reduce the pressure drop across the sump tank, increasing your energy efficiency and preventing oil from getting into your air dryer or production equipment.
