Ingersoll Rand 32198400 Ring / Gasket Kit for the 2540 Piston Compressor Pump

The 32198400 ring and gasket kit from Ingersoll Rand includes all items necessary to replace the internal rings on the 2540 piston compressor pump

Included in this kit are both the low pressure and high pressure piston rings. Two flange gaskets are included to seal the cylinders to the compressor pump crankcase. 

An instruction sheet is included with the purchase of this kit showing the proper order of how the rings should be installed.

Typically the rings are replaced on a 2540 reciprocating compressor when oil is getting downstream from the compressor pump or the air compressor is slow to build pressure.

Please note this kit is only used on the older 2540 pump and will NOT work with the newer 2545 compressor pump.
