Ingersoll Rand 39708466 OEM Air Filter Element for Rotary Screw Compressors

The 39708466 air filter element was most commonly used on certain versions of the Ingersoll Rand rotary screw compressors manufactured in the 1980’s. These were commonly referred to as SSR1000 compressors and were typically 50hp compressors. Some of these were also Oil-Free Sierra rotary screw compressors.

This Ingersoll air cleaner element should be changed every 2,000-4,000 hours. It is recommended to change the filter more often If your compressor is located in a dirty environment with lots of dust or debris particles in the air. Changing the air filter will prolong the life of your compressor by protecting the inlet and airend on the inside of the compressor. Proactively changing the air filter will also increase your energy efficiency by not restricting the inlet airflow going into the air compressor.
