Ingersoll Rand Replacement Spin on Coolant Filter for EP5-EP10 – 39907167

This OEM coolant / oil filter was used on older Ingersoll Rand rotary screw compressors between 5hp and 10hp from the early to mid 1990’s.

The old part numbers for this filter were 39313317 and 92824598. If your parts manual states to use items 39313317 or 92824598, then purchasing this 39907167 filter is correct.

Ingersoll Rand recommends changing the oil filter element every 2,000 hours or once per year. The oil filter removes particles and debris from the compressor oil before being sent back into the compression process. Changing the oil filter element will prolong the life of your compressor by ensuring clean oil is sent to the airend and oil cooler.

This is an OEM part manufactured by Ingersoll Rand. Most coolant filters sold online are aftermarket filters and are not rated to the same filtration specifications as OEM.

This coolant filter element is most commonly associated with the below rotary screw IR compressors that were manufactured in the 1990’s. The serial numbers would start with the letter “A” followed by several numbers and the letter “U”, for example “A01001U”. Note that not all EP compressors took this filter unless the serial numbers starts with the letter A
