Ingersoll Rand OEM 24820409 Inlet Valve with Elbows – Normally Closed for UP6 5-15C 

The Ingersoll Rand 24820409 inlet valve is a normally closed inlet valve used on several of the UP6 5HP to 15hp rotary screw air compressors. This valve includes the pushlock elbows. No rebuild kit is available for this valve.

It is recommended to replace this valve every 8,000 hours or 2 years. If your compressor is slow to build air or it leaks from the inlet valve, this kit may solve the issue. Often times this is refered to as an Unloader Valve using part number 23972854

When purchasing the inlet valve 24820409, you would also want to replace the inlet valve gaskets 42684795 to ensure a tight seal between the inlet valve and airend.
