Powerex’s 120 gallon 7.5hp three phase scroll tank mounted air compressors are perfect for any application where clean dry air is required. Scroll compressors are completely oil-less so there is no risk of oil or coolant contamination downstream – this means less maintenance required, less filtration is needed, and there is no need for oil-water separators – all resulting in a more environmentally friendly operation.

The STES0754 is mounted on a 120 gallon horizontal receiver tank. There is also a 13 gallon internal receiver inside the compression cabinet which brings the total tank storage to 133 gallons. The external tank is equipped with a pressure gauge, safety relief valve, discharge shutoff valve and a receiver drain. An air cooled aftercooler is included to lower the discharge temperature of the compressed air. This results in ~70% less moisture getting downstream. An electronic timer drain is installed on the receiver tank to automatically drain any condensate from the tank.

Since the STES0754 model includes a sound reducing enclosure, this compressor is one of the quietest available, letting you install this right next to the point of use reducing installation, piping, and costs associated with pressure drop. The system is constructed with an internal frame and steel base with an individual vibration isolation mounted compressor module. The sound reducing enclosure has side access panels to allow service of the electrical controls. The enclosure has side cooling air intakes and all exhaust air leaves the enclosure from the right side.

The Powerex Oilless Rotary Scroll Air Compressor has advanced scroll compressor technology through the development of a completely oilless unit. The Powerex Scroll Compressor offers a dynamically balanced air end which insures vibration-free operation. The rotary design permits a continuous 100% duty cycle. No oil separation, oil filtration, or inlet valves are required on the Powerex scroll compressor.

This model is available in 208v, 230v and 460v three phase power. A magnetic motor starter with overload protection is pre-installed prior to shipping and wired based on your buildings power.

Two pressure setpoints are available on the STES0754 7.5hp compressor depending on your sites psi requirements. 116psi is the most common but this is also available in a 145psi configuration at a slightly higher cost.
