Ingersoll Rand OEM 42412452 Rotary Screw Air Compressor Separator Element

This Ingersoll Rand separator element should be changed every 1,000 hours or once per year, whichever occurs first. The separator filter removes oil from the airstream before the air is sent into the air cooler. Proactively changing the separator element will reduce the pressure drop across the sump tank, increasing your energy efficiency and preventing oil from getting into your production equipment. When changing the separator element, it is also recommended to change the compressor oil, oil filter, and air filter element.

This separator element was widely used on several Ingersoll Rand ESP series rotary screw air compressors manufactured in the mid 1990’s. The most common compressor the 42412452 separator will fit is the ESP20, ESP25, and ESP30 that start with serial number “AN”. Note that there were several other models of the ESP compressors between 3HP and 15HP, but this filter will not fit those models.
